The privately owned Tom-Ferr Zrt. was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Budapest. It is one of the largest wholesalers of steel pipes in Hungary. In 2008, Tata expanded its activities with a new branch of business, where it manufactures automotive parts by machining steel pipe raw materials.
TUBE CUTTING
The cutting of pipe and rod cross-section components, which are essential for the automotive industry, is carried out on highly efficient and precise CNC pipe cutters.
FORMING
There are parts whose molding (cold forming) is difficult to automate or very expensive.
TUBE END FORMING
The end machining of the shorter pipe components is carried out on special pipe end machining machines designed and manufactured for this purpose.
MILLING
During machining, the equipment cuts and, as necessary, processes the component from two sides simultaneously with high efficiency.
